How Enesco uses SkooCloud Plus for digital catalogue production

Enesco case study for SkooCloud

Enesco uses Aspin’s digital catalogue software, SkooCloud Plus and PixSell, to create customer-specific product catalogues while reducing its reliance on print.

Global leader in licensed gifts, Enesco has trusted Aspin with its sales technology since the introduction of iPad order taking. In 2025, as catalogue production costs continued to rise, the business looked for a more efficient way to create, manage and distribute digital product catalogues while reducing its reliance on print.

The latest addition to its Aspin platform was SkooCloud Plus, our cloud based Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.

Working alongside PixSell, SkooCloud Plus has transformed the way Enesco creates and shares digital catalogues, giving its field sales team greater flexibility while significantly reducing the need for printed catalogues

The challenge

Like many distributors and manufacturers, Enesco had traditionally relied on printed catalogues to support its sales activity. However, the cost of producing and distributing printed materials had become increasingly difficult to justify, while giving customers access to high quality product information and imagery remained as important as ever.

The business had already reduced the number of catalogues it printed, focusing only on its largest collections. Even so, there was still a need for a more efficient way to produce, manage and share digital catalogues without relying on traditional print runs.

The solution

Enesco upgraded to SkooCloud Plus, Aspin’s Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management platform.

Product information, images and digital assets are managed centrally within SkooCloud Plus, while marketing teams create branded catalogue templates ready for the sales team to use. Those templates are then made available in PixSell, allowing sales representatives to generate customer specific digital catalogues directly from their iPads.

Rather than relying on lengthy print production, sales representatives simply select the products relevant to each customer. PixSell instantly creates a professional PDF catalogue using the latest approved product information and imagery held in SkooCloud Plus.

Because product information and digital assets are synchronised from the ERP system into SkooCloud Plus, every catalogue is consistent, accurate and always up to date.

The impact

The response from both the sales and marketing teams was immediate.

“We upgraded to SkooCloud Plus to allow our sales team to create PDF catalogues. It’s going to be life changing. We might not need to print catalogues at all next year.”

Following the introduction of SkooCloud Plus, Enesco is now actively considering whether printed catalogues will be required at all in the future.

Alongside the obvious reduction in printing costs, the move also supports the company’s wider sustainability objectives by reducing paper consumption.

Benefits achieved

The response from both the sales and marketing teams was immediate.

  • Create customer specific digital catalogues in minutes
  • Generate professional PDF catalogues directly from PixSell
  • Always use the latest approved product information and imagery
  • Reduce reliance on printed catalogues
  • Lower catalogue production and operational costs
  • Improve sustainability through reduced paper usage
  • Give sales representatives greater flexibility when presenting product ranges

Looking ahead

By combining PixSell, InterSell and SkooCloud Plus, Enesco continues to build a more connected and efficient sales process.

For Enesco, digital catalogue production is no longer tied to expensive print runs or lengthy production times. Instead, marketing teams maintain complete control of product information and catalogue templates, while sales representatives use PixSell to create professional, customer specific catalogues whenever they need them.

The result is a faster, more flexible sales process, lower printing costs and a better experience for both the sales team and their customers.
